Neurosis

Formed in Oakland, California by Scott Kelly, Dave Edwardson and Jason Roeder in 1985 as a hardcore punk band. Over the years their sound progressed towards a sludge/doom metal style that also included influences from dark ambient and industrial music as well as incorporating elements of folk music.

The band's unique blend of genres has garnered them a dedicated following and critical acclaim. Their independent record label, Neurot Recordings, has allowed them to maintain creative control over their music and release albums on their own terms.

With a career spanning several decades, Neurosis continues to push boundaries and explore new sonic territories. Their powerful live performances are known for their intensity and emotional depth, making them one of the most influential bands in the heavy music scene.
