Collection: Robert Calvert

Robert Calvert was the poet, lyricist and vocalist who gave Hawkwind some of its sharpest concepts and words, while also making a singular solo catalogue. Born in Pretoria in 1945, the South African artist balanced science fiction, satire and spoken-word bite on records including Captain Lockheed and the Starfighters, Hype and Freq.
