Robert Crumb

Robert Crumb is an American subversive comics artist and musician, born on August 30, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With a wide range of talents, he plays banjo, ukulele, mandolin and guitar. He is known for his distinctive artistic style that challenges societal norms and conventions.

As a comic artist, Crumb has been influential in the underground comix movement since the 1960s. His works often explore controversial themes with satirical humor and social commentary. Alongside his successful career as a comics artist, Crumb is also an accomplished musician.
