Rodrigo Y Gabriela

Rodrigo y Gabriela are a Mexican musical duo specializing in playing fast, rhythmic acoustic guitars. The duo met in Mexico City while playing in a thrash metal band and later moved to Europe where they gained considerable acclaim. They settled in Dublin, Ireland, where they honed their sound by performing live gigs and busking on the streets. Their breakthrough came when they were approached by Damien Rice to support the Irish music festival Oxegen. Since then, they have toured extensively across the United Kingdom and beyond.
