Scratch Acid

Scratch Acid was a noise rock group formed in Austin, Texas in 1982. Known for their intense and chaotic performances, they quickly gained a cult following. After disbanding in 1987, members David Yow and David Sims went on to form The Jesus Lizard.

With their unique blend of punk, post-punk, and experimental sounds, Scratch Acid pushed the boundaries of rock music. Their raw energy and abrasive sound made them stand out in the underground scene.

Although their time together was short-lived, Scratch Acid's influence can still be felt today. Their impact on noise rock and alternative music is undeniable, making them an important part of music history.
