Skepta

British rapper, songwriter, producer, music video director, and artist. Skepta was born on 19 September 1982 in London, England, UK. He is best known for his grime music work and hails from Tottenham, North London. With Nigerian heritage, Skepta started as a DJ for the grime collective Meridian Crew before transitioning to MC-ing. Alongside his brother Jme, they were part of Roll Deep before founding Boy Better Know. His album "Konnichiwa" (2016) was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and later won the prestigious award.

Skepta's younger brother is the rapper JME while his sister Julie Adenuga is an Apple Music 'Beats 1' DJ.
