Collection: Soda Stereo

Soda Stereo were formed in Argentina in 1982 and became one of the defining groups in Latin rock. Their catalogue shows a band that kept moving: the sharp early statements of Soda Stereo, Nada Personal and Signos, the bigger, more expansive Doble Vida and Canción Animal, then the dreamier pull of Dynamo and Sueño Stereo.

They were never a group you could reduce to one record or one phase. Live documents like Ruido Blanco - En Vivo and Comfort Y Musica Para Volar catch another side again, showing how naturally those songs could shift shape on stage. If you are coming to them fresh, their discography makes the case: ambitious, melodic and restlessly inventive without losing sight of the song.
