Swamp Children is a British band that formed in Manchester in 1980. The core members of the group include Ann Quigley on vocals, Tony Quigley on saxophone and bass, John Kirkham on guitar, Ceri Evans on keyboards and bass, Cliff Saffer on saxophone, and Martin Moscrop on drums. Initially known as Swamp Children, the band later evolved into a highly acclaimed Latin/jazz/funk ensemble. Both incarnations of the group recorded music for Factory Records.

With their unique blend of genres and exceptional musicianship, Swamp Children quickly gained recognition within the music industry. Led by Ann Quigley's captivating vocals and supported by the talented instrumentalists, they created a sound that was both experimental and infectious.
