Swervedriver

Swervedriver formed in Oxford in 1989, carving out a heavier, more hard-charging corner of British alternative rock. Albums including Raise and Mezcal Head balance speed, melody and a blur of guitar detail, while songs such as “Duel” and “Rave Down” show why the band sit comfortably alongside shoegaze without ever sounding pinned there.
