The Avalanches

The Avalanches are an electronic music group from Melbourne, Australia. They are best known for their live DJ sets and debut album Since I Left You, which was created using approximately 3,500 vinyl samples.

Their name, the last of multiple one-off stage names from early in the band's career, was taken from the 1960s surf album "With The Avalanches".
