The Flaming Lips

The Flaming Lips formed in Oklahoma City in 1983 and have spent decades stretching American alternative rock into stranger, brighter shapes. Led by Wayne Coyne, they balance pop instinct with psychedelic sprawl, from Clouds Taste Metallic and The Soft Bulletin to Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots and American Head.
