The Hip Priests

British Punk Rock band formed in May 2006 in Nottingham, England. The Hip Priests initially came together for the simple purpose of hanging out and having a good time. However, their demo caught the attention of Sweden's Bootleg Booze record label, leading to their continued success.

Over the years, the band has seen some lineup changes and challenges. Despite these obstacles, they have persevered and continue to create music that defies categorization. Their sound can be described as a blend of Garage, Post Scandi, Action Proto Punk, and Rock 'n' Roll.

The Hip Priests have released three albums, a double singles compilation, and numerous singles. Their latest album 'Stand For Nothing' is set to be released on March 11th 2019. While they may not receive mainstream recognition or support from the music industry, they have developed a dedicated fanbase known as The Spasm Gang.
