The Monkees

The Monkees were the American pop-rock quartet of Davy Jones, Mike Nesmith, Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz, formed in Los Angeles in the mid-60s. Their best-known songs, including Last Train to Clarksville, I'm a Believer and Daydream Believer, helped define a bright, durable strain of 60s pop.
