The Rapture

The Rapture was an American rock band based in New York City, formed in 1998. Some of the members were also involved in the band Carpet. The band mixed influences from many genres including post-punk, new rave, dance-punk, acid house, disco, electronica and rock and roll. They quietly split early 2014.
