The Replacements

The Replacements are an American rock band known for their influential music. Their early albums, such as "Sorry Ma, Forgot To Take Out The Trash" and the "Stink EP," were heavily influenced by American hardcore, similar to their contemporaries Hüsker Dü. As they progressed, their sound evolved to include slower tempos.

In 1986, Bob Stinson left the band and was replaced by Slim Dunlap. Internal tensions eventually led to the band's breakup in 1991. However, in 2006, the surviving members (excluding original drummer Chris Mars and the late Bob Stinson) reunited to record new tracks for a Replacements compilation.

Exciting news came on October 3rd, 2012 when it was announced that The Replacements were active again. With a rich history and enduring influence on rock music, The Replacements continue to captivate audiences with their unique sound and legacy.
