Collection: Type O Negative

Type O Negative was an American gothic/doom metal band from Brooklyn, New York City. Formed in 1989, the band saw a change in their lineup when original drummer Sal Abruscato left in 1994 and was replaced by Johnny Kelly. Unfortunately, on April 14, 2010, the band came to an end with the passing of vocalist/bassist/songwriter Peter Steele due to sepsis caused by diverticulitis (initially reported as heart failure).
