Collection: William Onyeabor

William Onyeabor (born 29 March 1946 – died 16 January 2017) was a Nigerian funk singer and songwriter. He studied cinematography in Russia for many years, returning to Nigeria in the mid-1970's to start his own music label and to set up a music and film production studio. He recorded a number of hit songs in Nigeria during the 1970's, the biggest of which was ‘Atomic Bomb’ in 1978.
