Collection: Wishbone Ash
Wishbone Ash is a British rock band that achieved great success in the early and mid-1970s. They are known for their critically acclaimed records including Wishbone Ash (1970), Argus (1972), There's the Rub (1974) and New England (1976). Despite not having a definitive vocalist like Roger Daltrey, Ian Gillan or Robert Plant, they became famous for popularizing the twin lead guitar.
Formed in Devon in 1969, Wishbone Ash emerged from the ashes of another group. The original lineup consisted of Andy Powell on lead guitar and vocals, Ted Turner on lead guitar and vocals, Martin Turner on bass and vocals, and Steve Upton on drums.
With their unique sound and influential music style, Wishbone Ash continues to captivate audiences around the world. Their legacy as pioneers of twin lead guitar has solidified their place in rock history.
