Backwoodz Studioz

Backwoodz Studioz is the US record label founded by Billy Woods. Its catalogue in this sample centres woods’ work, including Hiding Places, Maps and Today, I Wrote Nothing, alongside Armand Hammer’s Shrines. That points to a label with a strong foothold in adventurous, writerly rap rather than a broad genre catch-all.
