American vocalist Donna Candy was born on September 3, 1918 in Sanford, Colorado. She gained fame as a member of the King Sisters singing act in the 1930s and 1940s. Donna married a trumpeter and later became a record executive. She appeared on the weekly national ABC show "The King Family" from 1966 to 1969, and continued to perform in holiday specials thereafter. Donna Candy passed away on June 16, 2007 in Hollywood Hills, California. She is also known as the mother of [a9431758].
