Green Day

Green Day are an American band whose 1994 album Dookie pushed their sharp, hook-heavy punk into the mainstream. Formed in Rodeo, California, they built on that with records including Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning and American Idiot, balancing restless melody, bite and a knack for turning frustration into songs that stick.
