Ibrahim Maalouf

Ibrahim Maalouf is a French-Lebanese trumpet player, teacher, composer, and arranger. Born on December 5, 1980 in Beirut, Lebanon, he comes from a family of talented musicians. His father Nassim Maalouf is a renowned trumpeter and his mother Nada Maalouf is a pianist. Ibrahim's uncle Amin Maalouf is a well-known writer and his grandfather Rushdi Maalouf was a journalist, poet, and musicologist.

With his unique blend of jazz and Arabic influences, Ibrahim has gained international recognition for his innovative sound. He has collaborated with various artists including Dhafer Youssef, Anouar Brahem, Erik Truffaz, and Avishai Cohen among others.
