Kategorie: IDLES

IDLES are a Bristol-formed British band whose music brings post-punk force to sharp, plain-spoken writing about grief, masculinity, anxiety and the state of the country around them. The group’s core line-up includes Joe Talbot, Mark Bowen, Lee Kiernan, Adam Devonshire and Jon Beavis.

That mix of confrontation and fellow feeling runs through key records including Brutalism, Joy As An Act Of Resistance, Ultra Mono, Crawler and TANGK. IDLES are often discussed in punk terms, but what sets them apart is how directly they turn personal and political strain into songs built for collective release.
