Jalen Ngonda

Jalen Ngonda is a soul singer from Maryland, now based in Liverpool. He writes with calm assurance, drawing on classic soul, rock 'n' roll and a touch of jazz without sounding trapped by revivalism. Come Around and Love Me introduced that balance beautifully: tight arrangements, an easy emotional pull and a voice with real poise.
