Jefferson Airplane

Jefferson Airplane were at the heart of San Francisco’s late-60s psychedelic rock scene. Formed in 1965, they moved from folk-rock towards a sharper, more exploratory sound heard on Surrealistic Pillow and Volunteers. Line-up changes were constant, but Grace Slick, Paul Kantner, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady remain central to the band’s story.
