Kranky

Kranky is a Chicago record label founded in 1993 by Bruce Adams and Joel Leoschke. Its catalogue maps a distinctive path through ambient, experimental and leftfield rock, with key releases by Low, Grouper, Tim Hecker, Loscil and Windy and Carl. Quietly consistent, it became a dependable home for spacious, exploratory music.
