Lloyd Cole and The Commotions

Lloyd Cole and The Commotions were a Glasgow-formed British rock group, established in 1982. Led by Lloyd Cole, they made some of the sharpest, most literate guitar pop of the decade, from the debut Rattlesnakes to Easy Pieces and Mainstream. Their songs paired melodic ease with keenly observed, adult songwriting.
