Mac Demarco

Mac DeMarco is a Canadian musician, singer, songwriter and producer. He was born on April 30, 1990 in Duncan, British Columbia, Canada. At the age of five, he changed his name from Vernor Winfield McBriare Smith IV to Mac DeMarco after his mother's maiden name, Agnes DeMarco.

Prior to signing with Captured Tracks and using his real name, Mac DeMarco released Bandcamp and cassette releases under the alias Makeout Videotape. This project also included Alex Calder for live performances.

With his unique sound and style, Mac DeMarco has gained recognition in the music industry as a talented artist. His captivating music showcases his skills as both a songwriter and producer.
