Kategorie: Mother Love Bone
The band Mother Love Bone was formed by Jeff Ament, Bruce Fairweather, and Stone Gossard after the breakup of Green River. They gained attention in Seattle and internationally with their 'Shine' EP. Tragically, lead singer Andrew Wood passed away from a heroin overdose just before the release of their debut album 'Apple', leaving the band devastated.
In the aftermath, Stone and Jeff collaborated with members of Soundgarden to create the tribute album 'Temple Of The Dog', featuring Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron. This project also introduced a young Eddie Vedder to the music scene. From there, Pearl Jam was born.
