Nocturnal Emissions

Nocturnal Emissions began in London around 1980 as Nigel Ayers' sound art project, moving through electro-acoustic work, musique concrète, sound collage, ambient, noise and post-industrial forms. Part musical group, part wider multimedia campaign, it has also taken in video, film and hypertext. The project is now based in Cornwall.
