Rick Wade

Rick Wade is an American deep house recording artist and DJ based in Detroit, Michigan. Born in small-town western Michigan, he began his career in the mid 1980s while studying at the University of Michigan. Wade gained recognition for spinning deep underground house at various venues in Detroit, including the Nectarine Ballroom where *Jeff Mills* was also making a name for himself. Alongside his successful mix show on WCBN called "Journey To The Land Of House," Wade's gigs propelled him to build his own studio and establish the label Harmonie Park.
