Shovels and Rope

Shovels and Rope are an American musical group formed in 2008, working in an Americana vein with a rough-hewn, close-knit feel. Releases including O' Be Joyful, Little Seeds and Manticore trace a catalogue rooted in songcraft rather than polish, with a sound that suits the duo’s plainspoken name.
