Shudder To Think

Shudder To Think is an indie rock band formed in Washington, DC, in 1986. Known for their unique blend of punk, pop, and glam influences, the band's theatrical vocals by Craig Wedren set them apart from others in the scene. They released their first LP on Sammich Records before moving to Dischord Records for three albums. After lineup changes and a move to a major label, Shudder To Think received critical acclaim with their major label debut "Pony Express Record." Despite not achieving mainstream success and facing backlash from independent rock fans for leaving Dischord, the band continued to create music while dealing with personal challenges.

In 1997, Shudder To Think returned with "50,000 BC" and focused on soundtrack work before ultimately splitting up by the end of the decade. However, they reunited multiple times over the years for shows and tours. Wedren, Larson, and March came together again in 2007 with new members for a show in New York. The group also embarked on a tour in 2008 and released a live album in 2009.
