The Chieftains

The Chieftains are an Irish folk group formed in Dublin in 1963. For decades they have been central to bringing traditional Irish music to a wide audience, balancing deep respect for the form with an openness to collaboration. Releases including Voice of Ages and Chronicles: 60 Years Of The Chieftains reflect that long, evolving history.
