The Disciples

UK Reggae and Dub producer, The Disciples, began their career in 1986 on Jah Shaka's King Of The Zulu Tribe label. With a passion for reggae and dub music, they started their own label, Boom Shacka Lacka, in 1993. In 1996, they formed a second label called Backyard Movements specifically for Reggae vocal productions.

The Disciples' dedication to the genre led them to establish BSL Sound System in 1991. They continue to DJ at various Reggae and Dub events worldwide even today. Alongside their DJing commitments, they run the Backyard Studio where they produce both reggae and dub music for their two labels. Additionally, they serve as engineers for other UK Reggae and Dub scene labels.

Inspired by artists such as Vibronics, The Bush Chemists, Iration Steppas, and many more from the reggae and dub scene; The Disciples have made a significant impact on the industry with their authentic sound and production skills.
