Kategorie: The Runaways

The Runaways were an American all-female rock band formed in California in 1975. Built around Joan Jett and Sandy West, with producer Kim Fowley’s early backing, they fused hard rock and glam on records including The Runaways and Queens of Noise. Line-up changes and disagreements over musical direction led to their 1979 split.
