U2

U2 formed in Dublin in 1976 and grew from post-punk beginnings into one of Ireland’s biggest bands. Early records including Boy and War led to the wider sweep of The Unforgettable Fire and The Joshua Tree. In the 90s, Achtung Baby and Zooropa pushed them towards a more electronic, experimental sound.
