All Cylinders

Yves Jarvis release new album All Cylinders on In Real Life Music. The Canadian musician – full name Jean-Sébastien Yves Jarvis – charmed with a pair of recent singles, using ‘Gold Filigree’ and ‘The Knife In Me’ to usher in a new era. Melodically refulgent but pared back in terms of production, Yves cites Paul McCartney’s home-recorded experi-pop selection II as a frame of reference.  Constructed in Montreal and Los Angeles, working from bare-bones Audacity on his laptop in rented apartments, All Cylinders taps into his pure love of music.
