Repressed on vinyl on Interpol's Soft Limit label. The second album from Interpol. A more optimistic take on the dark musical landscapes they've explored in the past - no less brooding and intense, but charged with flashes of colour and romance. Interpol have produced a soaring, inventive album that, while incorporating the deliciously dark atmosphere of 'Turn on the Bright Lights', merely uses it as a base to create more ambitious, warmer soundscapes. some of the dark atmosphere has been lifted and replaced with more optimistic and melodic themes.
