Barbed Wire Sandwich

A first ever reissue on vinyl for Barbed Wire Sandwich, the only album by British Prog Rock band Black Cat Bones. Originally released in 1970 on Decca's 'NOVA' series, the band's early line-up included Paul Kossoff and Simon Kirke (who later formed Free), while other band members formed the equally collectable Decca act, Leaf Hound.

Sleeve notes to be written by author Richard Morton Jack, an authority on '60s and '70s Rock music. The short-lived UK Nova series began in 1969 to showcase 'alternative', or non-mainstream acts; only 22 albums, including a sampler, were released before the series folded.
