Ran's debut album recorded back in 1994 finally sees its release, 31 years in the making!! Ran from Sunderland were active 1991-1996 and featured past and present members of Leatherface, Red Alert, Rugrat/Bulltaco, Medication, Roach Squad and Stokoe.

Beautiful Songs For Ugly Children is released simultaneously with companion release Out of Chaos a compilation of their demo recordings as a 4 piece from 1991-1993. Three songs from Beautiful Songs For Ugly Children were released in 1996 on a highly sought after 7" EP on Japanese label Snuffy Smile. All other tracks previously unreleased on vinyl or CD
