Based on original 1967 BYG sampler and now expanded with 5 additional tracks exlusive to CD. Digitally mastered from original BYG tapes by Nick Robbins and with an introduction by surviving BYG co-founder Jean-Luc Young. 16-pages booklet with track-by-track notes by author, journalist and BYG-authority Kevin Le Gendre.

BYG were a pioneering independant record compagny, one of the first labels to actively promote diversity and support black African-American musicians and multi-cultural artists worldwide during the 1960’s and 1970’s. Beginning in February 2022, BYG will reissue their now rare and collectable original albums as a deluxe facsimile editions. Newly remastered from the original tapes, each BYG album will be released on LP and CD with exclusive sleeve notes by Kevin Le Gendre and John Masouri. High-definition digital audio, digital downloads and streaming formats also available.
