Big Jefe

On Big Jefe, Jack Blocker leans fully into the rough-edged Americana sound that’s been calling from the start. Across eleven tracks, the 27-year-old singer-songwriter turns nights of drinking, bad decisions, and life on the road into something vivid, funny, and hard-won.

It began during his first winter in Nashville, writing over a few pours of whiskey. That song became “Big Jefe”, his first single, released in 2023, telling the story of a reckless drunken miscreant named Jefe. From there, Blocker built out the world, inspired by Willie Nelson, Marty Robbins, and Townes Van Zandt.

Produced by Patrick Lyons, Big Jefe is a record about transformation: a drifter, a broke drunkard, and a search for purpose that pulls him into the drug trade and an unlikely rise to power.
