Decades after the original mid-century heyday of the 1950s and 60s, a new generation of leather - clad motorbike - riding enthusiasts sparked a rennaissance.

Phil Polgaze who taught himself photography while training to be a geography teacher, carried his Pentax K1000 camera everywhere.  He managed to embed himself in the scene capturing the raw energy of the subculture's revving street parties, mass rides and gatherings .
