Half Speed Remastering. 180 Gram Black Vinyl. Chic is the self-titled debut album by Chic, released on Atlantic Records in 1977. The cover art featured two models, Valentine Monnier and Alva Chinn, uncredited in a photograph taken by Frank Laffitte. The Niles Rodgers / Bernard Edwards team turned out some of the most infectious and influential R&B party grooves of their era. Standouts include the hi-energy loping of Dance, Dance, Dance, the mellow jazzy flavour of Sao Paulo and the party anthem Everybody Dance.
