Christmas Is Over! (If You Want It) / Mr. Scrooge

Copenhagen indie pop group Josie bring jangly guitars, melodic vocals, harmonies and sleigh bells to Christmas Is Over! (If You Want It) / Mr. Scrooge. Their original A-side takes a playful look at a love-hate relationship with the festive season, drawing on the band’s C86 and twee pop influences.

The B-side revisits “Mr. Scrooge”, recorded by English girl group The Orchids for the 1964 film Just for You, adding Josie’s indie pop sensibilities to its upbeat 1960s harmonies.
