B.B. KING’S groundbreaking 1965 release Live at the Regal remains one of the great live blues albums, documenting a hot Chicago night and the singer-guitarist at his peak.

Backed by a sharp band and met with every shout from the room, B.B. King moves easily between slow-burn feeling and quick wit, turning songs into conversation. The playing is loose, precise and fully in the moment.

From the opening announcement to the final note, Live at the Regal captures why his stage shows became legendary, and why this record still feels immediate.
