Come To My World: A Tribute To Sarah Records

Space Kelly’s Come To My World: A Tribute To Sarah Records revisits songs from the Bristol independent label’s catalogue, including music by Brighter, the Field Mice, the Sea Urchins, Another Sunny Day, Heavenly, the Springfields, the Sugargliders and East River Pipe.

Ken Steen’s affection for Sarah began with playing along to Brighter’s Laurel. Returning to those songs during lockdown, he developed new arrangements with drums, horns and strings while retaining his respect for the originals. Sarah co-founder Matt Haynes and several of the original artists offered support, while Akiko Yamauchi supplied a photograph of Bristol’s central station for the artwork.
