Damn Yankees successfully delivered their unique blend of arena rock well into the early nineties.
They lived up to their name, or “Bad Reputation”, as patriotic warriors defending the stars and stripes on and off stage.
The band, consisting of the inimitable Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw of Styx and Jack Blades of Night Ranger, rocked stages with a vengeance. Their self-titled debut went platinum, carried by the hit power ballad High Enough, the rocking opener Coming of Age and Runaway.
