Dead Night Defiance

Gargant deal in towering Dark Power Metal: massive riffs, dark atmosphere, and huge melodic lift, with one foot in 90s metal and the other planted firmly in the present. Founded by Brazilian heavy metal veterans, the band brings a sound that feels disciplined, forceful, and fully realised.

The line-up features Guilherme Sevens, Caio Mendonça, Leandro Carvalho, Paulo Doc, and Phill Drigues, drawing on years of touring across Europe and South America, plus deep experience in production. Their debut, Dead Night Defiance, was recorded at Tellus Studio and produced, mixed, and mastered by Caio Mendonça with the band.

Released late in the year, Dead Night Defiance still landed on multiple “Best Albums of 2025” lists and among the top 10 power metal releases of the year. A worldwide deal with Fireflash Records followed, while the band’s wider visual world, led by Guilherme Sevens, draws from comics, cinema, painting, architecture, and literature.
